Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide all necessary details related to their project before work begins.
- Clients should ensure that any provided material does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or any third-party rights.
- Timely responses are required to avoid delays in project completion.
- Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all work within the agreed timeline.
- Any requested revisions must be in line with the original project scope.
Payments & Refunds
- Payment terms will be outlined in the service agreement before work commences.
- All payments must be made in full or as per the agreed milestone schedule.
- Payments are non-refundable unless The Written Owl fails to deliver the agreed-upon service.
- Any refund requests must be made within 7 days of service delivery and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- In cases where partial work has been delivered, a pro-rata refund may be considered.
- Chargebacks or unauthorized payment disputes may result in termination of service and legal action if necessary.
Copyright & Ownership
- Upon full payment, clients receive complete ownership of the final written content.
- The Written Owl reserves the right to use anonymized samples for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- We do not claim ownership of client-provided material but retain intellectual rights over any proprietary techniques or frameworks used in delivering services.
- Unauthorized use of our materials, processes, or content without explicit permission is prohibited.
Confidentiality
- All client information and project details will be kept strictly confidential.
- We do not share, sell, or distribute client work without prior consent.
- If required, both parties may sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to reinforce confidentiality measures.
- Confidentiality does not apply to publicly available information or material shared by the client without restriction.
Revisions & Modifications
- We offer revisions as per the agreed project terms.
- Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit may incur extra charges.
- All revision requests must be submitted within the specified timeframe after service delivery.
- The Written Owl reserves the right to refuse revisions that deviate significantly from the original project brief.
Limitation of Liability
- The Written Owl is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- We do not guarantee specific publishing outcomes, as publishing decisions depend on third-party platforms.
- Clients are responsible for verifying the accuracy of provided work before final use.
- We do not bear liability for any financial losses or reputational damage incurred from client use of our services.
Termination of Services
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if a client violates these terms.
- In case of termination due to client misconduct, no refunds will be provided.
- Clients may terminate services before completion, but refunds will be subject to work already completed.
- The Written Owl may terminate an agreement if a client engages in unethical behavior, harassment, or violation of legal obligations.
Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms at any time without prior notice.
- Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
- It is the client’s responsibility to review the terms periodically for updates.
